TELL US A SECRET Projekt30 is seeking submissions for our exhibition "Telling Secrets" What do our secrets tell us, tell others, or tell the world about itself? CALL FOR OUTSIDER ART BY THE DISABLED 4 Real, 4 Faux: Animating the Vernacular is a curated exhibition of self taught and academically-trained artists influenced by outsider art to be exhibited at Truman State University (tsugallery.org) in Jan/Feb 2011. This call is for artists who are inspired by and rework the visual language of outsider art. The self taught artists will be selected from agencies that work with the disabled. By displaying the work together, the exhibition will highlight the use of the vernacular in fine art and confront the limitations of categorization. THEATER SEEKS COSTUME DESIGNER An 11:11 Experiment is seeking a costume designer to help us enhance and modify existing costumes for the upcoming run of ELEVATOR at the Hudson Guild. We are looking for someone who can really make our costumes POP and help in adding that additional layer to our characters.
